Dato Lee Yee Cheong had a very good meeting with Yang Jing in Kuala Lumpur on 30 October 2025 . Dato Lee was very impressed with her lecture at the ISTIC/ICEE International Women Conference in Beijing October 2025. She is the Deputy Director (Finance) of the East Coast Rail Link Project. Her Chinese employer is China Communication Construction Company. CCCC Malaysia Company has many infrastructure projects in Malaysia, including ECRL, MRT 2, Double Track Railway Electrification Project Gemas-Johor Bahru. Other projects include high rise buildings, ports and bridges etc.
She promised to facilitate the AETDEW training workshops for railway and urban transport infrastructure operation and maintenance in Malaysia for ASEAN engineers and technicians possibly in 2026 with training program and trainers from Lanzhou Railway Vocational Training Institute that has been training hundreds of Malaysian engineers and technicians of the East Coast Rail Link in English in Lanzhou.
